Villarreal Head Coach, Javi Calleja has hailed Nigeria’s wonder kid, Samuel Chukwueze for his impressive display against Betis on Sunday night, revealing that the forward still has a lot to offer despite just bursting into the first team, AOIFootball.com reports.
The former U-17 World Cup winning star has been earning rave reviews in recent weeks with Calleja urging the club’s fans to be patient with the youngster and not put pressure on him.
“Samu is a player who does not stop growing. He is doing very well and is showing that he does not weigh on playing in the elite. We must have patience with him,” Calleja posited after the win against Betis.
The 19-year-old scored his second league goal in the match, playing for the entire 90 minutes with a game rating of 7.6, completed 100% of his take-on and 76% of his passes. He also won two of his three duels contested.
