Italian club Torino are willing to open discussions with Chelsea over the future of Nigerian wing- back Ola Aina as they’re interested in getting a deal in the January transfer window, AOIFootball.com reports.
Aina joined Torino on loan from Chelsea earlier in the summer but the Italian club are willing to activate the option to buy the player permanently with Torino chiefs reportedly ready to fly to London in the coming days to discuss the player’s future.
Italian news outlet, calciomercato.com reports that Torino president, Urbano Cairo, and sporting director, Gianluca Petrachi will meet with the Chelsea hierarchy in the coming days to finalize the deal.
Aina has been lauded by Torino coach Walter Mazzari for his impressive display since joining the club, particularly with his attitude and style of play which has seen him constantly feature for the Turin outfit this season.
The 22-year-old has featured in 14 Serie A games this season, starting one of those matches and bagging one assist.
