Super Eagles’ and Udinese of Italy defender, William Troost-Ekong has said that he will come out more refreshed for the second half of the Serie A season after finishing the first half with a win for his club against Cagliari on Saturday, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 25-year-old joined the Italian outfit in the summer from Turkish club Bursaspor and quickly established himself as a powerhouse in the club, starting in all 19 league matches.
“A good way to finish 2018. It is now time to recover the energy and start again for the second part of the season! +3 #ForzaUdinese,” Ekong posted afterward.
Having featured in all 19 matches this term, the Nigerian has an average game rating of 7.0, completed 82% of his passes, won 56% of his duels and also 50% of his tackles.
He’s also yet to commit a single error leading to goal and makes a team-high 6 clearances per game.
