Nigerian midfielder, Chidiebere Nwakali has said he his 100% ready for the challenge ahead, days after completing his move to Swedish topflight club Kalmar FF, AOIFootball.com reports.
The former Manchester City youth prodigy told AOIFootball.com ahead of the new Swedish season which begins in March, that he is already looking forward to the season whilst also admitting his 100% readiness to deliver for his new club.
“It’s a new environment for me. This will be my first outing in the Swedish League and I’m confident in my ability to deliver for the team. It’s a new challenge for me and I will give it all my best to ensure the team reaches its aim,” Nwakali noted.
He further added that he is not under any pressure to instantly deliver as he just wants to take his time and settle into the club and have a good preseason.
Having linked up with the duo of Gbenga Arokoyo and Chima Akas, Nwakali will almost certainly settle in well as a lot of Nigerian players also plying their trades for various clubs in Sweden.
