Former Super Eagles’ forward, Victor Moses came off the bench to score his first goal for new club Fenerbahce and sealed their 2-0 win over Goztepe SK on Friday night in the Turkish Super Lig, AOFootball.com reports.
The 28-year-old joined the Turkish side last week from Chelsea and made his debut in Monday’s win over Yeni Melatyaspor.
He was again named among the substitutes for the visit of Goztepe as Ghanaian forward Andre Ayew fired the hosts in front seven minutes into the clash after converting from a Roberto Soldado cross.
Ayew then made way for Moses four minutes after the hour mark as the Nigerian came in for just his second appearance for the hosts.
Moses then calmed nerves at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium when he netted the second goal, thirteenth minutes from time after exchanging passes with Jailson befor firing in a low cross past the goalkeeper.
The win sees Fenerbahce record back to back wins for the fist time in four months as they move off the relegation zone to 12th on the table with 23 points from 20 games.
