Super Eagles’ and Galatasaray of Turkey forward, Henry Onyekuru has declared himself ready for his side’s Europa League Round of 32 first leg tie against Benfica, positing that they must get their European ambition back on track, AOIFootball.com reports.
Having failed to progress past the group stages of the Champions League, the Turkish side dropped into the second tier competition offering them a chance to lay claim to the Europa League title.
Just like Galatasaray, Benfica also dropped down to the Europa League following their group stage exit in the competition and will be going into the clash with plenty of confidence after putting 10 goals past CD Nacional in the league on Sunday.
The Nigerian is yet to score an European goal this season but remains confident of a positive outing on Thursday as the Turkish side hope to progress to the Round of 16 of the competition.
