Nigerian midfielder, Ifeanyi Matthew made his long-awaited debut for promotion chasers Osmanlispor as they failed to reclaim top spot, drawing away at Adana Demirspor, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 22-year-old arrived at the club on transfer deadline day on loan from Norwegian side Lillestrom but having watched from the bench in his last two matches, he was deemed fit to start for the visitors.
However, both sides failed to produce anything meaningful in the first half as the host dominated more of the possession with Osmanlispor relaying on the wings to hurt their very compact host.
The Nigerian was then replaced after the hour mark with both clubs settling for a share of the point.
The point leaves Osmanlispor on second position level with third-placed Genclerbirligi on 48 points with Denizlispor leading the table with 50 points.
