Nigeria’s U-23 team Coach, Imama Amapakabo has assured that his lads would upturn their 2-0 deficit as they approach the Libyan game with different personnel, AOIFootball.com reports.
The former Rangers gaffer told AOIFootball.com exclusively after the team’s final training session that he remains confident of qualification on Monday in Asaba.
“I have said this over and over that these players are not new inclusions, they are part of the team that we have always had. The fact that they were not able to meet the first leg doesn’t mean they are not a part of us. We never borrowed players from any were.
“We will present the same team but with maybe different personnel to approach this game differently with a different tactical formation.
“I’m very optimistic that the boys will score the needed goals and ensure we qualify to the next round,” Imama concluded.
The Dream Team VII needs three clear goals to ensure they reach the final qualification round having lost the first leg 2-0 in Tunis last Wednesday.
