German giants Bayern Munich and Dortmund are set to extend their title chase to the transfer market as both clubs have notched up their chase for on-form Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru, AOIFootball.com reports.

AOIFootball.com can authoritatively confirm that the scouts of both clubs were very much present to watch the Nigerian a fortnight ago when Galatasaray played host to city rivals Besiktas in a game where the Nigerian found the back of the net.

Giants Bayern sees the Nigerian as an immediate replacement for departing Arjen Robben, Frank Ribery, and James Rodriquez, especially with the Nigerian’s ability to operate both on the flanks and in the attack.

On their part, Borussia Dortmund hopes to use the money recouped from the sale of Christian Pulisic to lure Everton into selling the Nigerian with Dortmund keen to further strengthen their squad ahead of next season.

Similarly, Spanish side Sevilla have also shown interest in the 21-year-old with reports emanating from the Ramon Sanchez indicating that the former Europa League champions are hoping a Champions League qualification spot could tempt the Nigerian to join them ahead of the new season.

On-loan from English side Everton, Onyekuru has scored 15 goals in all competitions whilst also adding 5 assists to keep Galatasaray in pole position to clinch both the League and Cup titles at the end of the season.
