Nigeria international, Samuel Eduok started life at new club, HNK Hajduk Split on a high after coming off the bench to net his first goal for the club as they trashed host NK Varazdi 3-0 to maintain their 100% start to the season, AOIFootball.con reports.

The former Kasimpasa of Turkey midfielder, who recently joined the Croatian side on a free transfer after canceling his deal with relegated BB Erzurumspor, was named among the substitutes for the first time since his arrival at the club.

After a goalless first 45 minutes, the visitors found their rhythm upon the second half resumption as strikes from Ivan Dolcek on 49 minutes and a penalty six minutes later from Mijo Caktaš put Hajduk 2-0 up.

Eduok was then introduced for Bassel Jradi immediately after the second goal with the 25-year-old announcing his arrival in style after scoring his side third four minutes from time following a solo run on the flanks.

The win now leaves Hajduk with 100% record in the league after recording two wins from their opening two league outings.
