Super Eagles winger Moses Simon announced himself in style in the French League as he came off the bench to seal all three points for Nantes as they defeated 10-man Amiens 2-1 away from home, AOIFootball.con reports.

The pacy winger, who recently joined the club on loan from Spanish side Levante, had to make do with a place among the substitutes as the visitors went in search of their first win of the season.

That task was however made relatively easy when Bakaye Dibassy was shown a straight red card after the half hour mark and Nantes profited from the numerical advantage to take the lead on the 53rd minute courtesy of a Kalifa Coulibaly strike.

Despite being one man down and a goal down the hosts somehow clawed their way back into the tie when South African midfielder Bongani Zungu equalized on the 71st minute before Moses was given his debut 17 minutes from time replacing Kader Bamba.

It took the Nigerian just 11 minutes to make his presence felt as he scored the winner six minutes from time after lifting the ball past the goalkeeper following an assist from Valentin Rongier to give Nantes their first win of the campaign.

The win moves Nantes up to 11th on the log with four points from their opening three league matches.
