“The whole team is fired up for victory and I believe we have what it takes to deliver the gold for Nigeria.

“It has been a fantastic tournament for me personally and I hope to deliver the gold for the team. Scoring the goal that will give us victory will be my joy as it will also mark a perfect birthday gift,” the forward said.

He further added that the coaches have put the players through a whole lot of intense training and now want his teammates to replicate the performance of the Falconets who also claimed gold on Thursday after defeating Cameroon.
