Nigerian international, Peter Olayinka celebrated his debut Super Eagles invitation in style as he scored the only goal of the game to lift Slavia Praha to a 1-0 win over visiting Mlada Boleslav, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 23-year-old, who was handed his first international callup for Nigeria’s friendly against Brazil next month, started his sixth league game of the campaign with the host hoping to extend their unbeaten start to the season.
The former KAA Gent of Belgium forward did not disappoint as he put them in front after just 14 minutes much to the excitement of the fans with Olayinka netting his 3rd league goal in the process.
He was then yanked off to a standing ovation on the 89th minute before the visitors got a chance to level from the spot which they eventually missed as Slavia picked all three points.
The win further solidifies their hold on the top of the table as they now comfortably have 29 points from a possible 33.
