Enugu Rangers Int’l FC attacker, Ibrahim Olawoyin has vowed to punish ASC Kara when both teams lock horns in the playoffs of the ongoing CAF Confederations Cup later in the month, AOIFootball.com reports.
Olawoyin who spoke exclusively to AOIFootball.com after the playoff draws were conducted last Wednesday in Cairo, Egypt, submitted that the Togolese champions cannot stop the Flying Antelopes from making the group stages of the competition.
“We have all it takes to progress to the group stages of the competition, and ASC Kara can’t stop us, said the pacy offensive midfielder.
“We’ll give it all it takes to ensure we make the group stages, and even beyond, he added.
It would be recalled that the Togolese national team defeated the CHAN Eagles twice in the space of ten days, both in the CHAN qualifiers and WAFU regional championship, and the fearless attacking sensation believes it is time to avenge those defeats by way of transferred aggression.
“Yes I’m aware that the Togolese national team defeated our CHAN Eagles twice over a very short period of time, he said.
“I’m already excited about the encounter, and I’m promising football fans all over the country that Rangers Int’l will sure avenge our national team defeats on ASC Kara FC, Olawoyin concluded.
The first and second leg matches of the CAF Confederations Cup group stage playoffs will take place between 27th October and 3rd November, and the Flying Antelopes with be guests to the Togolese in the first leg.
