The duo of Enugu Rangers Int’l FC players, Ibrahim Olawoyin and Tony Shimaga have been invited to Super Eagles B team, by the Coach Imama Amakpakabor-led technical crew, AOIFootball.com can confirm.
In a letter signed by the Secretary of the Super Eagles, Enebi Achor to the Team Manager of the Coal City side, both players are expected to report to camp in Abuja on Sunday 13th October 2019 in preparation for the second leg tie of the final qualifying round of the Championship of African Nations CHAN.
Both Olawoyin and Shimaga have been quite impressive this season in the Flying Antelopes’ campaign in the CAF Confederations Cup competition and Rangers Int’l FC have been drawn against the current Togolese top-flight league Champions, ASC Kara FC.
It would be recalled that the Super Eagles B team suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Hawks of Togo in the first leg encounter of the CHAN qualifiers and will be needing nothing less than a 3-0 victory, to make it to Cameroon for the CHAN proper.
However, the return leg tie has been slated for the 19th October 2019 at the Soccer Temple, Agege Township Stadium, Lagos.
