Nigerian international, Success Makanjuola has appreciated the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and coaches of the Flying Eagles following his dream move to Spain, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 18-year-old former Water FC of Abuja forward completed the move to Spanish side Leganes last week and has now promised to make the most of it and become a good ambassador of the country.
“I really want to thank the NFF for this opportunity because they gave me the chance to showcase myself by playing for Nigeria at both the FIFA U-20 World Cup and the African Games.
“I also want to thank my coaches- head Coach Paul Aigbogun, Coach Maikaba, Coach Bala, our team doctors and all other members of the Flying Eagles backroom staff who believed in me during my time with the team. It was a great moment and I promise to make them proud,” Success said.
The 18-year-old winger was a member of the Flying Eagles squad to the U-20 World Cup in Poland, playing four matches as he also scored once in the process.
He also featured for the Flying Eagles as they clinched silver at the African Games in Morocco.
