Iheanacho has struggled to get into Leicester City's first team despite arriving for a record fee of 25 millions pounds

It was a good night in the office for forgotten Leicester City of England attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho who continued his 100% scoring record in the EFL Cup after helping Leicester City to a comfortable 3-1 win over Burton Albion, AOIFootball.com reports.

The 23-year-old started just his first game of the season and needed just 7 minutes to stamp his authority on the match as he finished off a superb counter attacking team move after being set up by Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans for 1-0.

Tielemans then made it 2-0 on twenty minutes before the hosts pulled one back via the boots of Laim Boyce in the 52nd minute.

Iheanacho then made way for Harvey Barnes on the 66th minute with compatriot Wilfred Ndidi also coming on in the 88th minute before James Maddison ensured the victory was secured after scoring late to make it 3-1.

Similarly, at the Goodison Park, Super Eagles winger Alex Iwobi featured for all 90 minutes to help Everton reach the quarterfinals of the League Cup following their 2-0 over Watford.

The former Arsenal winger started the game and was a huge influence in the clash as goals from Mason Holgate and Richarlison gave Everton a comfortable 2-0 win.

The Nigerian had an impressive game rating of 7.6, completing 100% of his dribbles, winning 8 duels and also completing 75% of his passes.
