The Franco-German, who is on holiday in the Arab nation, arrived the team’s Mercure Hotel In Ismaila and was welcomed by Coach Imama Amapakabo and other members of his backroom staff.
Whilst addressing the players, Rohr urged the players to believe in themselves and go all out to make the nation proud whilst promising to hand outstanding players opportunities in the senior national team.
“I’m here on a solidarity visit. This team is full of potential and I will be here to watch your first game against Cotd ‘Ivore on Saturday. I hope you will give all your best to make sure the team achieves its aim in this AFCON U23 tournament.
“I believe some of you will join me at the Super Eagles some day,” Rohr said.
The Dream Team VII will begin their title defence against Ivory Coast next Saturday before also taking on Zambia and South Africa in Group B.
