Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong has signed a two-year contract extension at Italian club Udinese after a series of impressive performances for the Black and Whites since his arrival last summer, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 26-year-old will now see his contract run till the summer of 2023, with the Italian club happy to keep the Nigerian who has been impressive in the Serie since his arrival from Turkey.
“William Troost-Ekong has signed a new deal with Udinese until 2023,” Udinese said on their Twitter account.
The player in turn also took to the social media to thank the club and fans for their faith in him, stating that he will continue to work hard and defend the colours of the club.
The Eagles vice captain joined the Italian side from Bursaspor for a fee of around €3.3 million and has gone on to feature in 44 league games.
