Enugu Rangers will be without their attacking sensation, Ibrahim Olawoyin when they trade tackles against newcomers, Adamawa United FC in a Match Day 2 duel of the Nigeria Professional Football League, AOIFootball.com can confirm.
The youngster, who had started all matches for the Flying Antelopes this season both in preseason and the CAF Confederations Cup games, was conspicuously missing when the Coal City side turned out for training on Saturday evening at the Pantami Stadium, venue of the match.
When contacted, the left-footed player revealed to AOIFootball.com that his absence in the team for this weekend’s game is as a result of a minor thigh injury he picked up during their  1-0 win against ASC Kara of Togo in the CAF Confederations Cup playoff match.
“I’m not in the squad that made the trip to Gombe against Adamawa United this weekend.
“I picked up a knock in our last game and the medical team advised that I stay out for proper examination and treatment, and I’m almost set to return,” he disclosed.
