Delta Force FC midfielder, Ayooluwa Adetola has dispelled fears that the rumoured take over of his Nigeria Professional Football League side may distract the players of the club, AOIFootball.com reports.
In a brief chat with AOIFootball.com from Kano where the Delta Ambassadors are billed to take on Kano Pillars FC, the Ogun State born midfielder stated that the players are not in any way disturbed by the take-over saga, maintaining that they are professionals and their focus is on the sanctity of ’90 minutes.’
“We’ve decided to stay focused as a team and not to allow the current issue of transfer of ownership to overwhelm us.
“We’re Professionals, and our focus is on 90 minutes and we take each game as they come.
“We believe that the league managers knows the best way to handle the issues concerning ownership, and they’ll do justice in that regard,” Adetola said.
