Nigerian international, Umar Sadiq scored his 11th league goal for FK Partizan as they defeated FK Rad Beograd 2-1 away to pile pressure on second-placed Vojvodina, AOIFootball.com reports.
The Rio 2016 Olympic bronze medalist opened scoring for the visitors three minutes after the half-hour mark when he profited from a delightful ball from Aleksandar Lutovac to put Partizan 1-0 up.
The lead lasted just two minutes as the hosts responded almost immediately via the boots of Branko Riznic as both teams went into the break level on 1-1.
Seydouba Soumah then restored the visitors’ lead 8 minutes after the break with a well-worked team goal as they held on to seal all three points at the expense of their visitors.
The strike now means the AS Roma loanee has bow scored 13 goals in all competitions since his switch from the Italian capital whilst also adding five assists to his name.
