Super Eagles utility wing-back Ola Aina made a sweet-sour return for Italian side Torino as he helped set up a goal in their 4-2 loss away at AC Millan in the Quarter Finals of the Copa Italia, AOIFootball.com reports.
Making a return after missing out on last weekend 7-0 humiliation at home to Atlanta after miss out through suspension, the former Chelsea prodigy took his place in the starting XI with the visitors hoping to knock out the host.
AC Milan, however, took the lead in the opening 15 minutes when Giacomo Bonaventura put them ahead with the goal bringing out the best from Torino who somehow found an equalizer against the run of play via the boots of Glesion Bremer.
Torino then completed the comeback when the impressive Aina beats his marker on the flanks before sending in a delightful cross into the box with Bremer again in hand to head home with the visitors going up 2-1 with 18 minutes left.
Substitute Hakan Calhanoglu then forced the game into extra time with a smart finish deep into added time before he then made it 3-2 in extra time with Zlatan Ibrahimovic sealing the win to make it 4-2.
Aina, however, gave a good account of himself as he finished with a rating of 7.4, completing 75% of his passes, making 5 clearances, 3 key interceptions and also completing 100% of his dribbles.
