Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid have entered the race to land Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen next summer after both clubs made separate inquiries about his availability from Lille, AOIFooball.com can authoritatively confirm.
The 21-year-old has caught the eye of several top European clubs this seasons they view him as a potential replacement for their aging front line and would like to have a deal done before the end of the season
According to French portal ‘Le10sport’, both clubs have already shown their interest in the forward and have asked the club to name their value but it appears Lille are not in a hurry to cash in on the impressive Nigerian as they look to demand a club record fee before parting ways.
Osimhen has been in impressive form for the Ligue 1 side this season, scoring 16 goals in all competitions for Lille as they had to wave off strong interest from a host of Premier League clubs to keep him at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy beyond the January transfer window.
With Karim Benzema and Luis Suarez entering the final 18 months of their current deals at Real Madrid and Barcelona he, Osimhen, who is 21, will most definitely be a good fit as his predatory eye for goals can make him one of the deadliest in front of goal.
