Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru made a fantastic return to the Turk Telecom Stadium with Galatasaray as he came off the bench to cap an eventual evening in their 4-1 trashing of Kayserispor, AOIFootball.com reports
Having joined on loan From French club Monaco last month, the 22-year-old made the bench for the first time since his return as the host hoped to stretch their unbeaten run to eight games having last tasted defeat in December of 2019.
It, however, took them five minutes to get their noses in front when Adam Buyuk made it 1-0 before Ryan Dink doubled their lead on 21 minutes to give them a 2-0 lead going into the break.
Sofiane Feghouli then made it 3-0 after the hour mark before Onyekuru was introduced to an empathetic reception by the fans when he came on for Omer Bayram with 8 minutes left on the clock.
The Nigerian however made the most of his introduction when he set up Sofiane Feghouli four minutes into added time as Galatasaray sealed a 4-1 win.
The win now moves Galatasaray up to 6th on the log with 36 points, 5 points behind league leaders Sivasspor as they bid to retain the title they won last season.
