Super Eagles AFCON 2013 winning defender, Godfrey Oboabona has said that hehad never given up and believes his recent move to Georgia will re-launch his footballing career, AOIFootball.com reports.

 

Oboabona was out after his stint in Croatia with HNK Gorica but recently joined Georgian side Dinamo Batumi and the former Sunshine Stars strongman wants to use this chance to return to reckoning.

 

“Im happy to be back playing my football. It was not easy during the time I wasn’t playing but I never gave up. I just kept on pushing for it. I believe this chance will get me back to where I should be,” the 29yearold said.

 

Oboabona was part of late Stephen Keshi 2013 Africa Cup of Nations Super Eagles conquering side in South Africa.

 

The former Rizespor of Turkey man has featured 53 times for the Super Eagles.
