The National Association of Nigeria Players Forum has concluded plans to partner Primus International Specialty Hospital, Abuja as the body aims to ensure the medical status of players is taken care of at different clubs in Nigerian leagues.

This is coming in the wake of the recent death of Nasarawa United FC’s defender Chineme Martins who slumped and died while in action for his club in a matchday 23 encounter against Katsina United at the Lafia Township Stadium.

AOIFootball.com understands that the Union, with the support of Primus Hospital, will be providing total medical solutions and delivery of health care for all the clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League, Nigeria National League and Nationwide League One.

Nasarawa United through its chairman, Isaac Danladi had revealed plans to immortalize Martins, and this gesture will be brought to life in partnership with the foremost specialist hospital with a planned set up of a Medical Sports Department.

NANPF revealed through its leadership that Primus Hospital has agreed in principle to set up the department alongside Nasarawa United.
