SD Huesca midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali has said he is working hard and is focused on his football career development despite the scourge of Covid-19, AOIFootball.com reports.

Nwakali, MVP at the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile and former Arsenal player, joined the Spanish Segunda side last summer but recently arrived at the club in January after visa delays.

Nwakali has been working hard in training with the club and was close to his debut before the Covid-19 pandemic struck and stopped football in Spain and the whole of Europe.

He, however, revealed in an interview with AOIFootball.com, that life has been halted by the scourge of the fast-spreading virus in Spain.

“It is terrible out here. I have been indoors all this period and I must say it has been difficult. The good thing is I have been working hard personally ahead of the resumption of the league after this Covid-19 subsides,” Nwakali revealed.

Spain has been one of the worst-hit countries in Europe and the government called for a total shut down of all activities, forcing everyone to stay at home in order to control the spread of the coronavirus.
