Super Eagles and Al Adalah of Saudi Arabia midfielder, John Ogochukwu Ogu has praised fellow countryman and Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi for his sensational attributes on the pitch, hoping they can still play together again, AOIFootball.com reports.
Ndidi had also praised Ogu as one person who brings life to the National team during an interview, whilst also stating that the former Hapoel Be’er Sheva midfielder always has a way of bringing out the crazy nature of the players whenever they are in camp.
Ogu felt proud of the acknowledgment by Ndidi, adding afterward that most of his best games with the Super Eagles have come when both players lined up side by side for Nigeria.
“If I’m asked to choose between giving up my salary or playing in the midfield with Ndidi, I will give up my salary to play next to him. All my best games with the Super Eagles have been when I had him in the middle with me,” Ogu said.
The 31-year-old, who has always received praises on his patriotism for Nigeria, made his debut in March 2013 before going on to earn 22 more caps for the country which also included a place in the 2018 World Cup and a bronze medal finish at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
