Super Eagles and Villarreal CF of Spain wing wizard, Samuel Chukwueze has said it will be very unfair for the organizers of Spain’s top-flight league to end the league abruptly due to the Coronavirus pandemic, AOIFootball.com reports.

Chukwueze, who made this statement while on a live session on the Super Eagles Instagram page on Friday, maintained that LaLiga should think of another way for the clubs to see out the season other than calling it off abruptly with the league still inconclusive and the chances of some clubs still bright.

“I don’t support the idea to call off the league at this point. Lots of teams who were struggling believe they can make the Champions or Europa League spot or even avoid getting relegated,” he posited.

The FIFA U17 World Cup winner, whose team Villarreal CF is 8th on the LaLiga table before the COVID-19 break, feels his team can still make the Europe League spot and had the intention of fighting to the end.

Chukwueze has featured 13 times in the league for the Yellows Submarines this season, scoring 3 times.
