Super Eagles goalie, Francis Uzoho has responded to people who doubt his real age, saying they don’t know him and the story about his growing up years, AOIFootball.com reports.
Uzoho was a guest on the Super Eagles Instagram live session and he explained what he had to do to whilst growing up and how it had an influence on his looks.
“I was smallish back then in 2013 when I participated at the World Cup with the U17 National team. I later went to Aspire Academy where I learnt a lot. My looks and body build changed when I started using the Gym and was working out seriously. If a lot of people see my picture back then they won’t even talk about my age, but I don’t really bother because they don’t know me,” Uzoho said.
The Omonia of Cyprus shot-stopper, who just returned from a long term injury, is however delighted about the progress he has made in his career which has seen features for the senior national team and clubs like Elche and Anorthosis Famagusta.
He is currently on loan at Omonia from the Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna.
