Super Eagles and Heartland FC shot-stopper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa has said that his best game for Nigeria was the 4-0 drubbing of the four-time African champions Cameroon in Uyo during the qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, AOIFootball.com reports.

The experienced goalie said this in an Instagram live session conducted by the Super Eagles media team on Saturday.

“My best game so far for the Super Eagles was the win against Cameroon during the road to the Russia 2018 World Cup. It was an amazing experience for me and I can never forget that game. It remains my best, not just because we won massively against our rivals, but I also made some good saves in the game,” Ezenwa enthused.

The former Enyimba FC of Aba goalie, however, disclosed that his worst game was the 1-1 draw against Algeria in Constantine which was another game in the qualifying series to Russia.

“I think there are so many reasons why I picked that game as my worst in between the sticks for the team. I was freezing cold and also didn’t make decisions on time. I failed to pick aerial balls perfectly.  I was happy the game ended in a 1-1 draw though,” he concluded.
