Super Eagles wing- back, Ola Aina has revealed that his well taken backheel pass to Odion Ighalo against Burundi in the opening game of the 2019 AFCON in Egypt earned him a new nickname amongst his colleagues, AOIFootball.com reports.

Aina was a guest on a live Instagram session with the Super Eagles media team, and the former Chelsea man recounted the events during the goal celebration against Burundi.

“It was a great finish and I truly had the intent when I played the ball. And when we went to celebrate, I think I muttered something about being a baller. I am not sure if I said that though but after the game when we got back to our hotel, my colleagues kept on calling me “Ola the Baller”, hahaha. I just was wondering what brought about that,” the former Hull City player stated.

The FC Torino player has featured 17 times for the Eagles since choosing Nigeria over England in 2017.
