Super Eagles wing-back, Ola Aina grabbed his second assist of the season for Italian side Torino as they suffered their 15th loss of the campaign, falling 4-2 away at Cagliari, AOIFootball.com reports.
Following back to back substitute appearances, the former Chelsea youth prodigy returned to the starting XI for what was his 15th of the season with Torino hoping to consolidate on their midweek win over Udinese.
The hosts however grabbed the early initiative when they struck twice in quick succession from Nahitan Nandez and Giovanni Simeone to take a 2-0 half time lead.
Radja Nainggolan then made it 3-0 sixty seconds after the interval to make it 3-0 before Aina helped pull one back on the hour mark when he set up Gleison Bremer to make it 3-1.
Torino then raised the hope of a potential comeback when Andrea Belloti made it 3-2 five minutes later only to have their hopes dashed when Joao Pedro scored four minute later to make it 4-2 and seal all three points for the host.
Aina, who was on for 74 minutes before being replaced, finished with a rating of 6.7, made one key pass, completed 74% of his passes, won 5 duels and also made one clearance and interception.
