Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru has officially ended his loan spell with Turkish champions Galatasaray on the last day of June 2020, AOIFootball.com reports.

The former Everton man will now return to his parent club AS Monaco who are bracing up for fresh challenges next season and they have engaged the services of a new coach Robert Moreno who was formerly the head coach of the Spanish national team.

Henry has also been told that his preferred No 7 jersey is still reserved for him when he returns in two weeks’ time.

Moreno was signed up in December 2019 after Onyekuru’s loan transfer to Gala was concluded.

Onyekuru, who started well with Fatih Terim’s side when he joined back in January on a six-month loan deal, featured 11 times for Galatasary this season, scoring once and assisting once also.

His performance last season for Gala where he won a league and cup double, made Gala request for him on loan again to repeat last season’s feat but his form and impact was bedeviled by the outbreak of the coronavirus.

News in France however has it that Moreno wants the Nigeria international back at AS Monaco and the coach plans to build his team more around the speedster who has had great outings for KAS Eupen, Anderlecht, and Galatasaray where he scored a total of 52 goals.
