The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick has revealed that the finances to pay whoever becomes Super Falcons coach for the next three years is readily available, AOIFootball.com reports.
Nine-time African champions, the Super Falcons currently do not have a substantive coach but according to Pinnick, the team will have a coach soon and the NFF already has monies to pay the would-be tactician.
“We have saved monies to pay the soon to be appointed coach of the Super Falcons. We will use the balance from the FIFA appearance fee for the girls which was $760,000; we gave the team the agreed 30 percent and we have the balance which we have now saved for the payment of the wages of the new coach whenever we appoint a new one,” Pinnick explained.
The CAF executive committee member also mentioned that no stone will be left unturned as it concerns the team’s wellbeing on and off the pitch.
