LaLiga outfit, Sevilla FC are reportedly in hot chase for FC Porto and Super Eagles versatile defender, Chidozie Awaziem who was outstanding in his debut season in Spain with relegated CD Leganes, AOIFootball.com reports.
Awaziem, who has since returned to his parent club FC Porto, was outstanding throughout the season for Leganes. The former FC Nantes on loan player featured 26 times in the Laliga and once in the Copa Del Rey for Leganes.
Though the team got relegated, he was able to use the platform to show what stuff he is made of and now he is being courted by top LaLiga side, Sevilla.
Though offers have not been made, the interest is a strong omen for the 23-year-old who has two years left in his contract at FC Porto where he has played most of his football on loan.
The AFCON 2019 Bronze medalist has had stints with clubs in Turkey, France, and Spain.
