Heartland Football Club’s defensive midfielder, Ayooluwa Adetola, has issued a clarion call to his teammates for them  to seek the face of God as a result of the financial difficulties the club is going through, AOIFootball.com reports.
Speaking exclusively to AOIFootball.com, the former Niger Tornadoes and Delta Force FC player believes the issues presently bedeviling the club are not insurmountable before God, adding that with prayers to God and constant intercessions, divine intervention is inevitable.
“I’m calling on my teammates to seek divine help at this time, on behalf of our club, Heartland FC, said the Ado-odo Ota born midfielder.
“It’s obvious that at this stage, only God’s intervention can resolve the issues fighting the existence of our darling club,” he added.
It would be recalled that the Naze Millionaires were struck with series of issues, ranging from Management and non-payment of entitlements of both playing and non-playing staff for several months now, and Adetola believes it is only a matter of time, insisting that he is still trusting God for miracles.
“I believe in miracles from God, although it may tarry, but God is still in the business of working out miracles.
“We can’t apportion blames now, we should only seek God’s face and His intervention, and that is all that matters,” concluded Adetola.
