Anambra-based club side FC Ifeanyi Ubah, on Wednesday won her second trophy in 3 months after clinching the 2016 Charity Cup at the expense of NPFL Champions, Rangers International who were disappointing.
The Anambra Warriors won 4-3 on penalties after both teams failed to score within regulation time.
The Flying Antelopes dominated proceedings in the first half but could not take their chances with brilliant displays from Godwin Aguda and Obinna Nwobodo but Rangers failed to convert in the final third.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah were reduced to ten men in the 35th minute, when Kojo Baah was sent off after his second booking for dissent.
The poor state of the Abuja National Stadium didn’t allow for smooth play for both sides though, as it was not just unpleasant to the eye, the texture of the pitch was terribly bad.

FC Ifeanyiubah later proved to be king of penalties after winning the Federation Cup via penalties against Nasarawa United FC last November.
