In a bid to prepare the Super Eagles ahead of Africa Cup of Nations 2019 qualifiers and the ongoing Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has lined up high profile friendly matches against top African sides in the first half of the year.
The Super Eagles were on Thursday drawn alongside South Africa, Libya, and Seychelles for a spot at Cameroon 2019.

A top source at the Glass House told that the football federation will utilise all FIFA free windows in the year to engage the Eagles and prepare them adequately for the task ahead.
“The NFF is working really hard to tie up countries in the top five on the African rankings in a bid to give the Eagles quality opposition friendly games ahead of the qualifiers; this time, there is no taking of chances” said the source.
Already confirmed is the friendly against Africa’s current no.1 team, Senegal at a yet to be confirmed venue and date.
