Another weekend ended across the globe with Super Eagles’ players doing what they know how to do best. Here’s a roundup of how they performed.

Ahmed Musa

The striker was handed a surprise start in Leicester’s 1-0 defeat to Millwall in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday. Although he played all 90 minutes of the game, he couldn’t make an impact in a way Ranieri would have hoped.

Anderson Esiti

The midfielder played all 90 minutes of Gent’s 1-1 draw against Standard Liege. Meanwhile, Troost-Ekong was rooted to the bench all through the game and Moses Simon didn’t make the match day squad.

Samuel Kalu

The winger was introduced in the 74th minute for Kenneth Saief.

Wilfred Ndidi

Ndidi was rested for this game. Though he was on the bench, he remained an unused substitute. He will be expected back in the starting line-up on Wednesday for Leicester’s Champions League trip to Seville.

Joseph Akpala

The forward was an unused substitute in KV Oostende’s 1-4 loss to Anderlecht.

Kingsley Madu

The defender put in a solid 90 minutes performance in Zulte-Waregem’s 4-1 victory. He was played as a central defender rather than as a left back in this game.

Kelechi Iheanacho

The forward was an unused substitute in Manchester City’s 0-0 draw in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday. The forward hasn’t seen a lot of playing time since the turn of the New Year.

Emem Eduok

The winger played 70 minutes of Kasimpasa’s 0-0 draw against Fenerbahce on Sunday.

Ogenyi Onazi/Kenneth Omeruo

The duo will face off later today when Onazi’s Trabzonspor take on Omeruo’s Alayanspor

Godfrey Oboabona

The defender played full 90 minutes in Rizespor’s 1-1 draw against Galatasary. Uncapped Nigerian forward, Bright Edomwonyi equally led the attack for Rizespor.

Nosa Igiebor

The attacking midfielder was introduced in the 62nd minute of Rizespor’s draw against Galatasary.

Taiwo Awoniyi

Young Taiwo Awoniyi remained an unused substitute in NEC Needs’ 3-1 loss to PSV Eindhoven on Saturday.

Brown Ideye

The attacker whose goals have been invaluable to Olympiacos till date was out injured and did not play in their 1-0 defeat to AEK Athens on Sunday. He’s still the top scorer with 13 goals.
