Leading scorer in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) this season, Stephen Odey of MFM FC has declared that he has his eyes firmly set on the being the all-time highestgoals scorer.

Odey, notched his 6th goal of the season as MFM FC on Friday night brushed aside champions Enugu Rangers.

The young enterprising forward shot to the top of the NPFL scorers chat since Match Day 2 and has refused to relinquish the spot even as the race for the scorers gong gets tougher.

Odey also revealed the number of goals he may likely end up scoring this season.

“I’m targeting double figure of goals. Maybe 15 or 20”.

Odey will however not pass up the chance of breaking the NPFL goals-scoring record of 24 goals set by Enyimba’s Mfon Udoh two seasons of ago.

“I’m very very ready to break it. I just want to keep doing what I’m doing presently”.
