Players and officials of Rivers United FC have arrived in Sudan ahead of Saturday’s CAF Champions League first round game against Al-Merrikh.
The United contingent  arrived at the Khartoum International Airport at about 2am local time on Friday, March 17.

United won the first leg of the tie 3-0 in Port Harcourt five days ago and will qualify for the group stage of the competition if they don’t concede more than two goals on Saturday at the Al-Merrikh Stadium, Omdurman.
Speaking to the club’s official website, shortly after arriving in Khartoum, technical manager of the club, Stanley Eguma said his players are poised to do Nigeria proud.
