– Nigeria’s Super Eagles face Senegal in London at Barnet’s Hive stadium
The Hive, Barnet FC Stadium, will play host to the international friendly match between Nigeria and Senegal tonight.
The match serves as a warm-up for coach Gernot Rohr ahead crunch Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup qualifiers later this year.
Both teams last met during the preliminary rounds of the 2006 African Cup of Nations with the Super Eagles winning 2-1 courtesy of Obafemi Martins brace.
The Hive stadium holds 6,000 – but reports claim less than 2,000 seats have been sold for the game.
Tickets cost as £10 for adults but only 11 of 480 tickets behind one goal have been snapped up.
Nigeria boss, Gernot Rohr, has got off to a stunning start in their World Cup qualifiers after guiding the Super Eagles to a 2-1 win against Zambia’s Chipolopolo and 3-1 against Les Fennecs of Algeria.
Nigeria’s Victor Moses and Carl Ikeme have pulled out of the squad injured while Oghenekaro Etebo has already joined the team training.
