MFM FC of Lagos Coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu has disclosed that he celebrates wild anytime his team scores a goal or wins a match, because he who would have been jobless if not that he was reinstated after his resignation at the end of last season.

The Anambra-born tactician, in an exclusive interview with, stressed that his wild celebration is also informed by the fact that football needs drama and this doesn’t exist in Nigeria football

He noted further that once drama is being displayed by the coaches on the touchline, the fans will like to come and watch the next game whilst anticipating something new.

“The number one reason why I celebrate wild is that last season I resigned from MFM before rejoining the team; so, anytime I am celebrating a goal, I see myself as a person who is supposed to be sitting at home doing nothing.”

“The second reason is that there is no drama in Nigerian football and football needs drama so that people can be happy and want to come to the pitch to watch matches; you need a lot of drama, if not you may see an empty stadium in your next game.”

“In our game, if people don’t come because of the players, they will come because of me, because they believe that if they come they will watch another show.”

“It has been working and it has made people to come and watch our games,” enthused Ilechukwu.
