Reports from Enugu suggests that the fate of embattled coach of Rangers International Football Club Imama Amapakabo has been left hanging till after this weekend’s CAF Confederations cup play off 1st leg game against Zambia’s Zesco United.
Amapakabo was initially handed a three match ultimatum by the management of the Flying Antelopes and he was expected to come out victorious in all. The ultimatum however ended last weekend as Rangers’ lost two and drew one match with just one point to show in all three matches.
AOIFootball gathered from those who should know in the camp of the Nigeria Professional Football League champions that the management will come out with a final decision on the future of the Okrika born coach after the CAF Confed cup game against Zesco United which will be played on Sunday.
Rangers are currently bottom of the NPFL standings with 13 points from 14 matches and have three outstanding games. The Flying Antelopes have never been relegated in the Nigerian league.
