As the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) approaches Match Day 19, Plateau United Manager, Kennedy Boboye, challenged the League Management Company (LMC) to take the league to new heights in the second round.

Kennedy Boboye is having a good season in the NPFL, with his team seating 2nd on the log, thinks the only time people should applaud the LMC should be at the second round of the league.

Boboye noted that things become more difficult in the league when it enters the second round.

According to him: “The LMC is one body we must give kudos to but I keep begging and praying that the only time we must compliment them is when it comes to the second round. That is where the main challenges occur in the league. If they can keep to what they’re doing, then we can now duff our hats for them”.

The former Abia Warriors Coach was also cautious on saying that his team can win the NPFL title this season.

“I’m not assuring anybody. From day one I have not assured anyone. They never planned about continental football until I came. I kept asking what they wanted and they told me they wanted to be among the first five. But I told them we’ll work hard to pick points anywhere we played,” Boboye said.
