Nigerian striker, Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo scored a late equaliser and his first goal for his Italian side, FC Crotone in their Match Day 32 Serie A clash away at Torino.

Nwankwo, 24, scored five minutes after he was introduced to replace Bruno Martella in the 76th minute. Despite Nwankwo’s tap in goal, Crotone are still 5 points adrift of Empoli and are locked in the relegation zone, 18th on the log with 21 points after 32 games in the Serie A.

‘Simmy’ as he is fondly called scored a whopping 20 goals for Portuguese Segunda Liga side, Gil Vicente last season. He has featured only 16 times for the Serie A side, starting 3 times, and 13 times from the bench.
