Rangers International defensive midfielder, Christian Madu, believes his team’s 3-1 victory over four-time Nigerian champions Kano Pillars last weekend in a rescheduled Match Day 9 encounter, will spur them against fellow strugglers WIkki Tourists of Bauchi on Wednesday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

Rangers rattled Pillars with what was described as the best home game posted by the Flying Antelopes so far this season and they intend to continue in the same way when they lock horns with their visitors from Bauchi.

According to Madu, the team are motivated for another win following their massive victory against Pillars.

“It was a win that restored our confidence and I would say it came at the right time. Wikki won’t be spared as we need to get all the available points in our outstanding games,” he told exclusively.

Rangers are currently handled by interim manager Chukwuma Agbo and are still rock bottom of the NPFL log with sixteen points after fifteen matches.
