Nigeria’s football elite are in Mokwa,  Niger State for the 37th edition of the Governor’s Cup.

The Governor’s Cup is in honour of the Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sani Bello who himself will be star-struck as the creme dela creme of Nigerian football will be on ground to witness football artistry of it’s best live in the Power State.

The elite will storm the state with chairman, Nigeria Football Federation Referees Appointment Committee and member, CAF Technical Committee, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh whom many have identified as the beacon of light in Nigerian football.

Fresh has galvanized the state through the part of football development never before witnessed since he became the FA Chairman with series of football competition staged within the knucks and crannies of the state.

The 2017 Governors Cup final will have present, the executive committee members of the Nigeria football federation with over 20 State FA Chairmen haven’t confirmed their attendance.

This years Governor’s cup competition has been intriguing, entertaining and revealing of the football potentials of Niger State as 23 of the 25 local government areas of the state participated in the competition before the final.
